Pedrosa tops second free practice session at Aragon
Dani Pedrosa topped the second free practice session at Aragon, with Valentino Rossi all the way down in twentieth place.
The Italian, who is recovering from injuries suffered before the San Marino GP, was passed fit to ride this weekend yesterday. Yamaha had drafted in Michael van der Mark to replace Rossi, however, they have instead given him a test ride at the Aragon test.
Jorge Lorenzo finished the session in second, with Johann Zarco finishing in third place. Marc Marquez was fourth, Karel Abraham putting in an impressive ride to finish in fifth place.
Cal Crutchlow was sixth, with Sam Lowes putting in his best ride of the season so far to finish the day in seventh place. Championship leader Andrea Dovizioso was eighth at the end of proceedings.
Aleix Espargaro was ninth, with his brother Pol finishing tenth. Alvaro Bautista was eleventh, with Jack Miller crossing the line twelfth.
The Q2 participants will be decided tomorrow in FP3 before qualifying gets underway.
